TPS Recall

I am starting this thread because for some reason the other one is closed and I have some information to share with all.
Frame numbers for recall as follows; 04 bikes, DM014000001678 to DM014000009510. 05 bikes DM014000009511 to DM014000015015. You will receive a letter (got mine this morning) assuming that Yamaha have your details as the keeper, if you bought second hand and did not notify Yamaha you will need to contact your dealer or Yamaha. Yes Alan you are very right, mine was a retorical question related to the other RECALL thread where it has been argued that this recall by YAMAHA UK will affect other European Countries and my argument is that Yamaha UK will only recall UK sold bikes and not those in other European countries, i.e. if France will honour this recall then Yamaha France will call their owners as UK is doing it here.

Once again as it has been published in MCN and on Yamaha Motors UK website this recall so far is only for UK.

Just to prove my point here is the recall letter stating it's originated by none other than YAMAHA MOTOR (UK) LIMITED
