12v Aux Socket

After having a look around for a 12v Aux Socket, all I could find were ones on crappy little right-angle brackets, so I decided I could do better myself. I bought one from Hein-Gericke, removed the bracket, and fitted it to one of the inner faring panels. It now looks like it's meant to be there, see attached pics. For the wiring, I've hooked it up to the ignition fed aux plug behind the headlight.

Looks nice. But some shrink tubing with melt-glue inside (on the backside) would prevent moisture to ruin the contact.

Looks really neat but its a bit exposed to water/moisture isnt it?

Still looks way better than my tie-wrapped on effort!
