Single can for new Tenere?

Does anyone know if someone is developing a single (left hand side) exhaust, without a cat preferably to fit the new Tenere?

Having had a poke around on mine, it would seem feasible to do this, as long as it wasn't too noisy... then you could use the space on the right hand frame rail for one of these:

Worth a thought?

Worth a thought. I have a lot of ideas for my bike but been so busy riding it so I haven't got much done. We have a short summer but a long winter up here so I save the modding until then. =) One idea was to find a used exhaust from i.e. a LC4 and do some piping, had no thought about what to do with the empty space to the right but this is superb.

Yes, that looks like a great idea! I was thinking more along the lines of a "falsie" pipe, but this would be cheaper and easier.

Someone did it with the XT's so I don't see why it couldn't be possible for the Tenere's too.

Yes, this guy is on the GSers website (and also XRV.org) - his 'website' is really just a portal, and it seems that demand has outstripped supply so far, hence the temporary suspension of the paypal link etc.

You can order direct from the USA, but the shipping is way more than the actual unit price! I think Mozza is planning on a repeat (bulk) order though... guess we'll have to wait x
