After alot of looking about and many webpages searched i have found an american company called bling lights that sell many different types of add on lights. I decidied to go the PIAA JDM Extreme Driving Lamps as they are nice and small so will not be too hard to place and + they are only 35w each so shouldnt give the battery such a hard time but still give a good bit of extra light. Also they are only �46 all in.

I will be hopefully getting an orderform emailed through to me soon and i will put them on asap. I will keep you all up dated when things start to move.

And before someone says anything yes i do know it is now the sunny season but i like to do a bit of night riding every now and then, less people on roads etc etc.

Well as no one seems to have replied i might be talking to myself here but here goes anyway.

Got the lights after about a week in the post. I got an electric feed from the main light so i cant switch them on when the bikes not started. The lights came with 2 switchs so i was a bit miffed why 2?? but then figured it out 1 was for the main light and the other was for a halo ring light around the outside, only thing the halo light was one of these takky multi changing lights with all the different colours. So i cut that off and got the wiring loom all in and connected up.

There where 2 clamps with the lights so i connected those on to my hand guards via a few cable ties and a bit of tape (rustic looking) just for the time being but i like the look now so might keep it that way. Not too sure.

I havent really had time out in the dark as it is very sunny out but the lights are like spot lights and cant really be used when there is on coming traffic even though i have them near facing the ground. I will hopefully get a few photos up of how much extra light they give later.

The lights look pretty compact , and that new camera of yours seems to do a good job too.

You've got a lot of mods going on there mate, the bikes looking good and well loved.

BTW what make is the screen and why does it have a gap under it? Being a bit of a wus, I'll be looking for a bigger than standard one when the winter gets here.

Whay hay someones interested in what im saying. thats a first.hehe

Ive never found out what make the screen is as i bought the bike with it on, but there are a few other people on the forum who also have the same screen. It can be bought in either tinted like mine or clear but i seen pictures of the clear and to me it looks a bit wierd as its kind of like a bluey colour. It makes a great bit of difference to me as im 6ft4 and sort of make a big sail shape for the wind when riding.

The wee gap at the front is so the air can travel under the screen and not create turbulance. Air dynamics and all that very complex to explain but it works better than if there was no hole.

It takes a long time to read all the old threads.....

But I am not too shure about the integrated look of the lights. When I read you link I was wondering how you would mount them.

I guess if they are for function rather than athetics you will need to lets us know how they work in the dark.

I know if you are planning to use them for Off road night adventures then a leaf from the Mountain bikers is to use a Helment mounted light as it allows you too see where your head is pointing.
