I personally have not tried one but I seem to remember someone commenting on how poor the lighting was on this head lamp. I am not a big fan of its looks, I think it looks all wrong but that is only my oppinion.

I could not resist and bought and fittled the headlight. You can see some pics here (poor quality):










I know most of the people will not like the look but.....I love it!!

Gotta say that looks pretty damn good on your bike mate

Was it a straightforward fit or did you have to fiddle about with brackets/etc? Also, how is the illumination, is it better than standard?

Thanks it is almost straightforward if you remove the plastic cover of the forks as I did. If you don't, then you will have to find custom made brackets.

It reminds me of Bumblebee from the film Transformers (thats not slagging off the unit as I like Bumblebee). How are you finding the light output at night?

I have not been able to ride under really dark conditions but I have to say it lights brighter than I thought, although less than the stock headlight. It has the TUV certification.

Regarding Bumblebee, you have really understood the kind of look I was after.
