What causes this then?????
Ok some of you may have noticed at tha ace the other week that my back tyre looks like i have been on a track day or something
Gonna have to get new tryes soon anyway by the looks of it

Have you got CCC's on your bike? That first pic looks like the cans have rubbed on the tyre when going over a speed bump/pothole/dip in the road. Check to see if you have any black residue on the underside of the cans.I have experienced the same thing

When I saw his bike at the Ace last month I had a look under the cans and couldn't see any tyre marks. Couldn't explain it myself. Dodgy tyre quality? Who knows!

Wow I have never seen this on a road biased tyre before. I would say this is a dodgy tyre and when you change it over for a new one it will not reoccure. Looks cool.

that's OEM Pirelli Dragon...same one is on my bike with over 11k kms...ok ready for replacement but never happened anything similar...yesterday came back home after about 1300 kms trip and the same tyre was even good enough to ride during rain...

I had the same problem that has meach witn Dunlop Sportmax on the rear tyre...
The first half was really good, but the other half of tyre looked just like meach's. have a nice day |
