Hey, I'm looking for some new enduro tyres to replace the standard Metzler Tourance one's, who lasted for over 9 000km.
I'm pretty pleased about them, exept in the dirt there rubbish, even some wet grass is risky buisness. And with a holiday trip closing in to Andorra (off-road paradise), I would like to buy some tyres with more off-road potential, but still practical for the more everyday road use.

I heard the Trelleborg T-644 would be a nice choice, but hard to find arround here.

My second option would be the Continental TKC80 Twinduro's. And now my question goes, does anyone already had some experience with these?
Or with some other types maybe? I would love to hear about it!

Thx for the advice, will give some feedback on my choice and experiences.
Maybe it isn't a bad idea, to lose the small mudguard? I'm afraid it might jam the weel when it get to muddy.

The front mudguard should be removed if you plan to ride in dirt and mud!!
Otherwise mud will stuck into the mudguard

Yes mud will stuck into radiator....
If you can adjust the mud guard (make it higher) you shouln't have problem.
I saw someone have change the front mudguard with the old XT. That will be usefull

Yeah that should do the job, this will become interesting :-)
Also a bolt cracked off inside on my side luggage carrier (Givi), rear brake pads worn to the limit, engine needs a service,need to mount some hand guards, an engine guard...
But in the end, it will be al worth it...
