Thumbs up Bargain plastics

I have just bought replacement body panels from my local dealer in black, they cost less because apparently they come out of the mould in this colour (they do seem to scratch easily though). The rear tail unit was just under 7 and the tank sides were under 8 each. Bargain!

Thought I'd check out the prices from my local Yam dealer, emailed them this afternoon and this is their response !!!! .............

The prices for the parts you require are as follows,

Tank Side panels with all the decals = 147.35 + VAT for both
Headlight Assy = 65.42 + VAT
Taillight Assy = 27.75 + VAT

All parts take aroung 3-4 working days.

Decals must be bloody expensive! Which dealers are doing them cheaper?

they are crooks this is the quotaiton I had

see attached

ignore the last item that was a quotation for a whole red/black seat assembly. Throw this quotation in their face and let them explain to you how can their prices be so high?

Re the black panels

I'm in Australia where those panels are quite pricey. would you mind letting me know your dealer so I could see if he will ship to Australia. Thanks Grffith

Dear Griffith,

What year and model and I will ask my Local Stealer for a price. If can or won't post to you I will get a price for this when I know the weight of them.
