Part needed asap

Dear xt'ers

Last Sunday I had an accident on my trip to Asia while on the Italian highway. I'm okay and my bike is for the most part as well.

Only a big scratch on the tank, broken indicator, the horn switch doesn't work anymore and the left hand controls are loose because the little pin that inserts into the handlebars broke.

I already ordered a new indicator. But I can't seem to find the part which fixes the controls to the handlebar with the pin insert.on the part it says "8617".
Can someone help me out by finding this part, and also a horn switch?

Thanks a lot

Is it item number 11 you need below?
https://www.ajsutton.co.uk/genuinepa...ch-lever?uID=0

If so,the X and R models use the same switch gear, Yamaha part number 5vk83969-00

Hi. Thanks for the response!

Out of hurry I forgot to mention my model is the Tenere. I've checked for the part on the drawings provided by Yamaha but it's not there...

Anyway the controls stay pretty well in place without this lock thing so I'm just going to leave it like this I think

Take it off, wrap tape around the bar, put it back on. The switch cluster will grip the tape and stop turning.

When I changed my bars on the Tenere the hole wasn't there, so I cut the pin out... Some tape around the bars before fitting the switchgear has worked well for 8 or so years now without any problems. Just make sure it's not cheap tape with soft adhesive, I used DuckTape.
