Sprocket size

Hi all
I am going to put a new chain and sprocket set on my xt660r tomorrow. I know standard is 15 front and 45 rear. Has anyone tried a different size sprocket set up that works better. I ride fast in and out of the corners so dont really want to lose to much bottom end but I also find at high speeds bike is a bit lacking. When I ride the XT I tend to do 100 to 150 miles on twisty road and over take bigger bikes so I dont hang around on it.(in May I will be doing 300 miles a day for 5 days but again back roads of the high lands of Scotland.) I will go with the standard size tomorrow anless anyone has used a better set up. Thanks all

I've always ran a +1 rear on my X and Z and I like that setup.

For 15/46 gearing the links must be 112.
I changed mine a month ago.

this makes the bike a little less lazy.
i'm running 15/47 but going back to 15/46 setup next time.
15/47 is perfect if you only occasionally go on highways.
it sits perfectly happy at 105-110km/h (gps) at about 4500-4700rpm.
just try it out, 1 tooth more in the back, you'll soon notice it's much more suited to this bike.
