Turn signal lights blinking
Hi guys,
Need little help. After a little modification(removing tank, rerouted gas cable, removing battery and added heated grips). After doing all that all the turn signal lights are now flashing when I turn on the ignition. Not possible to stop this blinking. Bike will start and all the other lights are working. Does anyone know what could be the problem or what can I check. Bike is 2015 XT660z with ABS Cheers |

Actually heated grips were not connected yet when I saw this anomaly first. After I connected these grips turn signals were still flashing but heated grips were working fine
I thought there were some easy fix to this. Remember I removed also an electrical box on the left side of the tank. Maybe this is somehow causing this. I will check later evening these wires. |

I'm embarrassed to admit that but I will still do that.
Nikroc was right, somehow the hazard light switch was turned on and I didn't realised to check that because I didn't turned it on. Anyway problem solved. |

We've ALL done something similar...nice easy fix!!
I dont know what make heated grips you have but after my battery being flat, twice since I installed heated grips I am looking to put some kinda inline on /off switch into the circuit. For now I take the fuse out.. |

I installed Oxford Touring grips. These should be smart ones and turn itself off.
I will see how they will affect the battery life. Anyway I need to charge my bike once a month in winter time because otherwise it will get empty. Hopefully I will receive soon voltmeter which I will install to see real-time battery voltage. |

You need to put them on via a relay. Easy and cheap to do.
