Need some pinouts please

Hi everybody! I am new here. Had my XT660r for a couple of months and last Saturday I had to put it down hard on the road to avoid rear ending a taxi.
Got some nice roasteis!

I am looking for the pin out of either the instrument cluster or ECU. My speedo took a big knock but is still working. Only problem is the back light is not working. Anybody knows if the 2 pins on the left of the LCD provides the power for the back light - I assume it will be 5vdc if it is those 2 pins...

I need the pin outs because I am considering fitting universal aftermarket clocks. If I know which wires does the signal inputs for speed, indicators, highbeam, engine light, revs, coolent light etc it would be of great help!

HI, Thanks for the info Ferg! I will check it out. In the meantime I decided to use the LED backlight strip and diffuser from an old crappy broken cell phone to make a new backlight. Really not wanting to spend all the money on new clocks - They look expensive!

I made a diagram of the pinout of the plug at the back of the clocks - as soon as I can figure out how to upload on the forum I will share it.

Good man, great idea.
Agree the clocks are expensive.
Just use the advanced feature on the thread post, then go to managing attachments, after selecting the files you want to post, dont forget to press the upload button on the right hand side (something I keep forgetting!).
