First Impressions..PC5

So..the unit arrived,with an 02 controller.
I spent a frustrating half hour trying to get the fuel tank off,as per the instructions only to realise it didn't need to come off.
I pivoted the tank forward, stuck a 6" high cardboard box that was lying around under the tank and worked my way around the changes.
All straightforward,as you'd expect.Only issues were the old/brittle electrical connections/plugs.
The bike started first time and ran perfect with the supplied map.
Smooth and smooooth all the way. Felt a bit more perky but it was only a quick shakedown ride.
I will get out on her asap for a longer blat and report back. Fingers are crossed.

Went out today for a 50 mile ride around Derbyshire. I have to admit that the bike felt so much smoother than before.
Quicker throttle response and a it felt like a few more ponies..of course it could all be psychological BUT Im happy with it and IMHO it was worth the money.
Another Ebay special on her 2nd birthday, with me.

I would love to know how/what the pre installed map 'look's' like against a standard map..ie in comparison to a factory one.

I would like to put the bike on a dyno one day,or try an alternative map or two...maybe both..

PS...I just checked on Dynojets website..PCV IS 388 AND o2 controller is 95...thank fook for ebay!
