Two timing my Tenere for an Italian beauty!
Had the lovely Desert Sled for a few hours...great bike. But riding back from the test ride on my Tenere reinforced how much I love the Ten...and how all the bits and pieces I've done to it over the last few years have made it 'my' bike ...I feel so at home on the Tenere. And there was a strong tailwind blowing and I was having a blast...love it!! Steve

The comfort on the Sled was ok apart from the bars ....for me they needed to be half an inch higher and a bit further back towards me. Like I said, the Ten fits me like a glove. The other thing I keep finding on other 'modern ' bikes is the overly smooth power delivery....it's so linear and civilised it's almost a bit dull...a bit bland. .why are manufacturers obsessed with 'smoothness '!. The Lambda sensor looks vulnerable.

Looks good....I want to see the new Tenere/ T7 in the flesh. I think Nick Sanders is going to ride it to the NEC show. Hopefully they won't dull it down or sanitize it too much before it goes into production!. Steve
