I can only manage around 30 minutes or so on my R before my ass starts to complain..spoils the ride tbh..
Just spoke to my mate who also ridesan R and he has the same issue...
What are the most cost effective options?...

I was very sceptical at first but a simple piece of sheepskin has been very effective. ...Rode all the way from Pembroke Dock in Wales to Chichester with one 20 minute stop....no worries! Steve

I've bought a sheepy too since the ol' butt syndrome kicks in for me around 2 hours. Ironically, I haven't used it yet as I've only been on local jaunts. I was convinced it was both effective and the cheapest option to start with since reading stuff on here and Horizons Unlimited. Not sure how comfy it would be when soaked though. But I did learn they make great pillows in the tent.

TBH I dont do any distance riding.Im lucky to live 15 minutes from some wonderful Derbyshire scenery,even tho I live in the centre of Derby.

I'm also a furry seat cover convert.
