High fender and handlebar bag reduce buffeting
Givi wind shield and high Touratech seat on my 2009 Tenere. Mounted a Polisport high fender (from OTR) and an inexpensive handlebar bag (mounted on the back-end side of the bars) today, and found it to pleasantly reduce buffeting.
I don't know which one that did the trick, but I suspect them both to have contributed to the improvements. (Thanks to Pleiades that I saw mentioned the high fender might reduce the upstream for some riders )

Oh, and by the way: I also put on the SW Motech footpegs, in the 1,5 cm lowered position. Left the rubbers off. Super comfortable!

A few guys have found a bar bag does reduce air flow. I have used a high fender and returned to the original and not noticed any difference.
I did a bit of tinkering and sorted my turbulence. Have a look and see if you fancy a go https://www.xt660.com/showthread.php?t=27601

I have already read through your thread referred to above. An impressive determination, I must say! And most informative and interesting. Thanks!
