My Great Escape!
I've finally escaped work and in my favourite place ...and it reaffirms what an excellent all round bike the Tenere is! Ad what brilliantly grippy tyres the Avon Trekrider's are ...even when you go into a sharp hairpin way too quick (whoops! ) they grip and save the day!. Some rides are just extra special and today was one. Rode from Rosslare to Ballydehob in the West of Ireland, along the Copper coast. ..two ferries. ..endless twisting roads. Some bimbling along enjoying the view and plenty of blasting the twisties. .making full use of the Ten's excellent front Brembo's! . Absolutely bloomin brilliant ride! Steve

That's a nice run westward across the very south of Ireland. Lovely time to be there now.
Where else are you heading while on the emerald isle?

Looks and sounds ace! There's something magical about being on a ferry too.

Cheers guys, I am a bit addicted to ferry crossings! , I'm based near Ballydehob and head out every day. ..you could spend a lifetime exploring the West coast. The Mizen Head. ...where I saw another Tenere parked up today....the Beara Peninsula and Healy Pass. ...the Dingle Peninsula and the Conor Pass.....endless! Plus a boat trip to see Whales, Basking Sharks and Dolphins. I've clocked up nearly a thousand miles since I left West Sussex on Friday. Steve
