Hello all

What set of tires would be better for me. i travel alot on road work and back. then weekends i do long distance and alot of off road riding. like end of this month im doing a 1600km round trip...

Hello and welcome.
I like the mitas e07 tyres. Good all-rounder.

I'm very happy with my Avon Trekrider's on the Tenere. ...great on road, wet and dry, and fairly good off road. But not great in wet muddy conditions. ....there's no such thing as a perfect all rounder I'm afraid! My philosophy on tyres is simple. ..buy the best you can afford, and I personally would rather have a tyre that grips on a wet busy roundabout but is a bit less grippy off road. I know where I would rather take a tumble! Steve

I'm happy with my 50/50 tyre from Michelin - Michelin Anakee Wild.
Much easier to drive on street (dry or not) then they look like and also really good grip offroad (not tested on sand or really wet mud).

but tire-questions are as always personal preferences.

good rides and cheers, Andy

Tyres

Hi, I can highly recommend Heidenau K60 Scout tyres. I wouldn't fit anything else for the combination of all-weather road grip and off-road use. I'm on my second set which were fitted in Istanbul to replace the Anlas ones fitted earlier in Turkey( these were actually quite good tyres too!!).
They are a little noisier than more road oriented tyres but are good off-road if its not too muddy. Good price in the UK and look good too.
I have changed them "in the field" too, not too difficult if you can break the bead ok. Wear rates are good enough. They do start to crack around the blocks as they reach their wear limit.
