High mudgaurd conversion
I've just done a front end conversion to YZ USD Forks and put the high mudgaurd on it.
I suspect the temperature gauge is now running 5 degrees warmer on the cooling water. It seems to get hotter quicker at slow plonking pace (albeit it is summer and temps are warmer anyway...) Has anyone who's done the conversion had temperature issues and had to slot the gaurd infront of the radiator? I was thinking of cutting slots and heating it up to fold them up to allow air through. Any other tricks tried? |

This is what I used on my R...The rear is slotted/vented and causes no overheating issues. Other colours are available |

Thanks for that. It is well vented. So much for it acting as a mud gaurd for the radiator...
After todays ride, I think I do need to slot the gaurd as slow riding lifted the temperature quickly and it took a lot longer to cool down each time. Oh well. It gives me something to do... |
