Lowering Link Dimensions?

Does anybody know the dimensions of a XT660X (lowering) link?

If found some info for the XTZ ( https://www.xt660.com/showthread.php...light=lowering) but nothing for XTR/XTX.
Quote:
For what it's worth, on the XTZ, lengthening the links from standard 125mm hole centers to 133mm would give 1" drop and 140mm gives 2" drop.
The ratio is 1:3.4
But even this thread does not state hole diameter, thickness, etc...

Greetings,
Wauschi

This is the dimensions of the XT660Z 1" drop links.
At least you can see all the dimensions and type of steel.
It was done by a friend who is a mechanical engineer.
Warning: the plating caused the 12mm bolts to pass through the holes with difficulty and I had to use some rubbing compound to widen the holes to 12mm.

12mm.... the XTR uses 16mm bolts..
I made mine from 6mm X 30mm stainless flat bar...
10mm longer = 25mm lower
20mm longer = 50mm lower
and so on...

is that pic correct.... 16mm OD radius with a 12mm hole only
leaves a 2mm wall thickness... or is the 16mm radius refuring to
the internal radius ?

Thanks for the update on the XTX and the thicker bolts.

The XTZ bolt diameter is 12mm and the outside radius of the plate is 16mm (32mm diameter) which gives 10mm space between edge of hole and edge of plate.
