            Overfilled oil! Now what?

Changed the oil this year, and added 2.5l with no filter change. I follow the instructions like last year. Dipstick dry. Ok.
I add a bit more oil. Follow the instructions , 10 min idle, bike vertical etc. Dipstick dry. wth? I add a bit more oil, confident that this should now be enough. I go for a ride, come back. Let it cool down 5 minutes. I check the oil. Oil almost too much. Barely bellow the top line on the dipstick. I drained a bit of oil from the screw that's under the engine. Go for a ride, let it cool 5 minutes. Still too much oil, if not more. Oil now above the top line of the dipstick. I think next thing is to try and drain some oil from the engine this time, front screw, and hope I can put the screw back without making a big mess. Any ideas? |

Isn't the overflow for oil under the airbox? The little hose that's usually sealed with a rubber cap.

No idea. I did what nikroc said. I used a hose through the dipstick and removed a decilitre or two.
