Cheap panniers. ...

Decided to fit a couple of hard panniers. ...they only need to be big enough for my little gas stove/spare gas etc. Also it's a bit dodgy sometimes carrying my saw/pruners axe in my rucksack! . My local army surplus wanted way too much for some very battered ammo boxes but I found these brand new ones online for �19. Drilled and bolted them to my existing pannier frames. ...these can be removed from the bike in a few seconds. Steve

Hey Steve, looks great.

I had made a (more or less) similar solution: bulletproof ammunition crates, made of fiber reinforced Nylon

Please focus on the boxes, even if something else maybe more attention-grabbing
. .
