clutch control while standing!
Hi guys, does anyone have any good tips for better clutch control when riding stood up off road?
So far I've lowered the clutch lever and also and have an adjustable lever, but still find it difficult, I know the heavy clutch on the XT won't be helping. |

The clutch is as smooth as it can be, as suggested, I've swapped to shorty levers, the cable as more lube than adult movie and I've also set the pinch bolt a little loose. Generally it's now a very light clutch by xt standards. I've tried 2 fingers but it feels very alien to me.
Gearing I'm running +1 on the rear but the chain could handle a +2 |

We are all different animals. My biggest improvement for off-road was when I started to use two fingers on the clutch. No probs at all. But for the other side, no chance to use two fingers on the brake, only one. For off-road it is OK, but on the road strength is always under questioning. |
