2 into 1 exhaust
I need some advise
I've got a 2015 xtr and want to lose the weight of the stock exhaust and fit either OTR or the MM 2 into 1 system. I don't want it to be to loud and I want it run smoothly like the stock ones do. I don't want to be doing any other mods to get the bike to run smoothly after fitting a new exhaust system. I have read lots of posts regarding cost difference and that the MM system can be problematic to fit. I'd be prepared to spend out more than double for the Akro if it's much better than the MM. What does everyone think? Many thanks simon |

The MM 2-1 system can be troublesome to fit and it does rob the bike of top-end power. There are also reports of bad fitment and poor quality welding on OTR headers too. See
here. Dominator systems don't seem to be much better either in terms of quality and fitment from what I have heard/read - but they are cheap as chips.
There are also Creptus and Huzar exhausts to consider too. I think if you want quietness and power, you're possibly better off sticking to a 2-2. If shedding weight and/or increasing ground clearance are your main priorities then trying a 2-1 is probably worth a shout. |

Based on what you have said I'd stick with stock cans.
