Parking safely in London
I was brave enough (or stupid) to drive the 80 miles into London and 80 miles back (thankfully yesterday when it was cold and dry, not snowing). I parked at 'Q Park in Knightsbridge. What a pleasant surprise. Its underground with booms and camera surveillance. They also have a number of steel frames which you can lock your bike to. And its FREE to use for motorcycles. Sadly I didn't have time for pictures, this phone grab was stopping on the M4 Services on my way home to warm up my cold hands. Google 'Q Parks' London and look under motorcycles. They also have parking just off Hyde which is much bigger (313 bays).

I did the same in soho...q parks are fantastic for bikes...considering you need to take out a mortgage to park a car there!!

The other parking tip for London... ( bikes and cars!) is that many of the hotels...especially the 'posh' ones have secure parking and if they have room will let you park up. Steve
