Headlight not coming on when bike is started

So I managed to get the connector issue sorted and now it seems it's the headlights turn

When the bike starts as we all know the headlight comes on but mine has started to play up and not come on ?

Could this be down to loose connection or relay ?

Cheers in adavance

Could be either. Might be stating the obvious, but is the bulb duff?

Does the headlamp work if main beam is selected at the switch and does the headlamp flash switch operate main beam OK?

High beams works and passing light works will have to have a look at the connection the Mara but might best practices to change the relay

There is only one feed to the high/low switch (then on to the headlamp) from the relay; the switch simply determines which of the two filaments in the H4 bulb receives current. If the high beam works with the engine running, but not the dip, it is not going to be the relay.

I would suspect either: (a) The dip filament has failed in the bulb; (b) There is a fault in the handlebar switch; (c) There is a loss of continuity in the dip beam wire from the switch to the bulb holder (bad connection or break); (d) There is a fault in the bulb holder (corroded contact/loose connection)

BTW - The headlamp flash (or pass) switch is a bit of a ' red herring' as it has a separate supply and bypasses the relay altogether.

Cheers dude getting the dealer to have a look as it's not starting again thinking there is a battery or relay issue
