Best performance enhancement for 4!
I saw WeaveMcQuilt with one of these L extensions which allows you too easily use the air inflating machines at fuel stations. I bought one last week at the KTM (don't ask) shop as it was only 4. Shock horror when I noticed I've been riding with my back tyre only half inflated for months. How much fuel have I wasted in this time? I've changed sprockets and chain, cleaned my air filter, replaced my spark plug (yes after 5 years) and none of these transformed my bike like the correct amount of air in my tyres. And another shock-horror after discovering my Yamaha is not Japanese made, my NGK spark plug is Indian! Whats the world coming to?

Especially useful for the Ten, as it's a sod to get a garage air line on the rear. Steve

I've had one of the L shaped air valves for years...sitting on a shelf!..dohh.
On a similar theme I always check tyre pressures when there cold (due to air expanding when warm/hot) and use a Halfords digital gauge. Cost around 6.00 and was a 'recommended buy' when tested by RIDE a few years ago. |

I keep meaning to buy one of the L valves but I've been told to take it off after doing pressures for balancing purposes

I don't leave it on. Just screw it on and off when pumping. That way you only buy one

Great tip. It's the little things that can make the biggest difference.
