Bonjour from kent
I dont have an xt but my uncle does, anyway i do the majority of the riding and all the maintaining.
Just joined to get some more knowledge and understanding on these bikes. (probably the best bike ive had the pleasure of crashing) love it great fun to ride, i would like to have my own one one day. Here she is 
My bike is an xs650
