Will a rear X shock fit an R ?

Just a quick one guys .

I have an '09 R that I have converted the front to X and replaced the rear wheel from an X. The rear swing arm is stock R.

Since she spends 99% of the time on road and the rear spring is stuffed.

Can I just order a 660X shock form yamaha and replace it with that? I would get a nicer one but I'm broke.

Any advice would be appreciated , thanks guys - Wack

Yes of course the X shock will fit the R. Have mounted a aftermarket Wilbers on my X.

Why don,t you buy a used one from Ebay?

Thanks Landton.

Just checking . Since the swing arm isn't the same, I didn't know how far up the changes went .

Yep ebay should be the way to go .

Thanks mate - Wack
