vibration

purchased a new 2011 XTR late 2015 first 2500kms were great wile away on my first ride after 2000kms it started to vibrate in mid to hight revs any thoughts? yamaha NZ say its fine?????? now sits in garage

Sounds odd. I wouldn't have said it was "normal" if it wasn't vibrating originally then suddenly started doing it.

Obvious question... Did you do anything different to/with the bike at the time it started vibrating more noticeably?

Where are you feeling the vibrations? Handlebars, footrests, seat... or everywhere! What sort of vibration high frequency, or low frequency?

First thing I'd check is the engine mounting bolt torque, particularly the top one.
