XT660 Supporter Banner.
I was just having a quick visit a bit bleary eyed after night shift, but didn't there used to be a 'Become an XT660 Supporter' banner with flashing lights around it at the top of the screen?
Its just that that was what drew my attention to joining up when I first visited. As now the only links or mention to join up that I see for unknowing newbies are the small links at the end of Captain's or Administrator posts? Maybe a more visual approach to join might raise the kitty a bit? |

Just another thought maybe is to have a country leader board table to raise awareness and give a bit of a sporting feel? Something like :-
Country............XT Supporters............Registered Users UK..........................25.................... ...........56. Australia..................26..................... ...........2 India........................0.................... ........2000. Etc.......................etc..................... ..........etc. After all sport is an international language & everyone likes a bit of friendly competition don't they ? Hi Desert Racer, that flashing banner is still there at the top of the forum, if you hover the mouse over it, it even makes a noise.
I like the idea of a statistics chart that shows the supporters vs registered members but it might take time to extract and differentiate their individual country, unless I print out all the supporters and find out where they are from one by one... |

It might just be pop up blockers on my apple stuff then as I don't see the XT supporter banner on my phone or Mac ?
Glad you like chart idea. Good luck. |

Hold down command and shift and 4 and then drag the crosshair across the area you want to screen grab. The image will go to your desktop (on a Mac)

Thanks for the the tips Fella's. My Daughter has been giving me some crash courses as she's fluent in apple as they have Mac books at school now.
Now I know how my Dad felt when I used to have to set the old VHS video recorder many moon's ago. |
