Does the XT - Z come with this as standard?

I cleaned mine today for the first time in 10 000 km

Was shocked how dirty it actually was, seemed still fine on visual inspection

Washed it in hot soapy water, a lot of dirt and oil came out




Then rinsed in hot water, clearly clean after rinse



Dried in the sun for about three hours and sprayed with oil





Sure it is as good as new

There has been some other SA owners reporting that their bike came with a DNA filter when new from the dealer.
Some people have said that the DNA filters have let fine dust into the air box in very dusty conditions unlike a genuine Yamaha foam/oiled filter. You can check by taking the side off the airbox to see inside.
