Where do you buy your new battery?

I was getting quite smug with my battery lasting so well and wham Sunday morning it failed on me, after 5 years sterling service. Bought a oxford charger and its going again but I better get a new one. Any advice on the best place to order one from. I will follow Plaedis's advice and stick with the Yuasa stock one, as I now have a TomTom, cigarette lighter point and heated grips running off it.

So would you buy the Motoblatt again?

After reading those articles carefully again it seems the Yuasa has most users votes and the safest bet. Who is the best supplier to go to or do I just head for Halfords.

I still believe you can't really go wrong with a Yuasa, I just got itchy feet and being a tight-wad, wanted to save 16 and get a Motobatt. I may possibly live to regret it, but we'll see...

As for buying batteries, I've generally found Wemoto to be the cheapest, but Halfords can be cheaper sometimes, and once or twice my local independent bike shop has managed to beat the big boys on price. Pays to shop around.

Tight describes me pretty well too. Is your motoblat a lithium battery? If thAts the case then will a normal charger work on it? The weight saving is surely a positive
