Hello guys,

I'm registered here since 2012 when I had an XTX for three months, then it got stolen. I was never really active, I was mostly on the forum searching for the surging problem of the xtx. Fortunately insurance covered everything so no man overboard. After that I got an old Transalp from '97 which served duty till a month ago which I sold and bought an XT660Z from 2010 which I am very happy with. It had a Scorpion exhaust and Powercommander V, snorkel and airbox removed already, replaced by a DNA, and some cool other stuff like an enhanced ignition coil cable, touratech skidplate, steel chainguard, usb and led taillight. I myself added alot to it the past month:

- Oxford heated grips
- Metzeler Tourance tired
- Waterpump protector (off the road)
- Headlight protector (ebay)
- DNA (side) airfilter with sidecover
- Xenon 6000k + LED
- Brake and clutch levers (AVDB moto, titanium look)
- Hepco & Becker rack and topcase
- Yamaha OEM handguards
- Healtech Quickshifter easy

Yes, even a quickshifter. And it's awesome. I just put my test video online. Link will be down below. Compared to the xtx I never feel any surge with this xtz, probably due to good configuration of the powercommander. I'm planning to do a dyno soon to see if there is any enhancement possible because the only thing now is that its not really running economicaly. At its best it's 1:16 now. I hope to get more mileage after the dyno. Last but no least, after I first introduced my lady, I will introduce myself. I come from Amsterdam, ride almost the whole year every year (for 4 years now), commuting and touring with friends locally, not long trips yet. I'm 26 year old atm. Hope to be part of this cool supportive community.

If anyone has any questions about my bike or anything, I would like to answer.

Thank you very much! No it's without. If you want to hear it good you should put earphones on. Most friends say it has the best sound they ever heared on an XT engine. It's deep and loud. Especially if you have the dna filters. I find the scorpions very expensive, so try to search on ebay before getting them new. I got lucky buying the bike with them fitted on.

Welcome.
I found my Scorpion pipes too loud without the baffles in and loud enough with them fitted. Must agree they sound very good. And with DNA filter fitted it improves the response of the Tenere in my opinion.
