Greetings from Estonia

Hello everyone.

My name is Rene and im from Estonia. My first bike was Yamaha XT600 1992 and I had it for 4 years.
Ive been looking for new bike quite some while now and only Yamaha had all the requirements I needed. I wanted a reliable bike and around 600cc or more and year of 2005+. Other alternative was KTM 690 but it is too expensive and more problematic. So my goal was to find XT660R but there were like 0 in the market(we have still winter here and people usually sell their bikes in spring or fall).
One day I found this Tenere for sale and it had alot extras with it. I was scared of the 65k on the clock. I called my last bike mechanic and he said its nothing(Also rides XT660R).
So I bought my second bike and it is XT660Z Tenere. It is 2008 model with 65 000km on the clock. Previous owner rode it for 50k in 4years and he got it from Germany.
It has:
*Aluminium Yamaha luggages with inner bags(one luggage lock is broken)
*Touratech rear fender plate
*Touratech hand guards with spoilers
*Touratech tank bag
*Touratech 20mm raisers
*Touratech seat
*Metal skid plate
*Heated grips
*Voltmeter
*Hyperpro front and rear springs
*OTR crashbars
*Rectifier put on crashbar for more protection
*center stand
*Scottoiler
*New chain and sprockets
*Original and 2 longer windshields
*Akrapovic exhaust
*Adjustable levers
*Very good history and maintenances
*Michelin T63 front and rear. Rear is half worn.

*It had Rigid led lights but they got stolen before he put his bike to motorcycle winter hotel. Getting new cheaper ones from ebay cause I won't have extra 300-400's for some time.

Done so far:
*Tidied wiring (took power for heated grips and phone charger through relay from battery instead from the dash. Used heatshrinks etc.).
*Cleaned number plate light and blinkers from inside(very dirty)
*Changed park lights(both dead). Had cool blue colored leds but ordered pure white ones.
*Painted crash bar from one side, he had minor crash that also scratched fuel tank. Locked front on hot tarmac.

Future plans:
*New Mitas E09 to rear and at fall Mitas C02 and C21 til spring.(Why mitas? Because rears cost around 59-62's vs TKC80 ~90-100 and Michelin T63 90)
*Buy new left mirror(Yam dealer has it for 25) this weekend
*Ride alot

We still have winter here but I have ridden 50km's total so far it is awesome. Also drove few days ago on a snow... impossible without knobbies(Mitas E09 front and half worn E09 @ rear). Max speed ~18kmh and crashed because front end slipped 2 times in 10 meters but nothing happened

Also checked my country database of all the XT660z we have and theres only 16 of them in Estonia.

Can't wait for spring already.

Lovely picture of the Tenere in the snow. Your white one well camouflaged. That german had good taste and deep pockets with all those mods.
