How to remove front tank cowl

Hi all,

I want to remove the cowling around the tank on my xt660x. I see that it has a top hex bolt and then two plastic push bolts on the bottom that hold the radiator guard on.

Before I break anything how do I get these plastic bolts out? Do they just need to be carefully pulled out with a screw driver/pliers? Cheers.

Take off the seat, you will see two hex bolts, us crew them along with the ones in the front, push to release the radiator protector plastic grille then on the bottom side there are arrow like plastic holders which clip onto the tank, just pull them out and you are done. Reassemble reversing. Mind the black plastic moulds along the seat bottom.

Hope this helps.
