The only thing that has been done close to that and that is very real and very gorgeous bike which is like Caf� Racer meet Enduro is the Spanish Derbi Mulachen and guess what it's got the same engine as our 660's

Nice to. You would have to no careful not to blow old people off their Zimmer frames when you pass them in drive on left countries with that exhaust !!

That tank is straight fro an 1980 TT500, as well as the seat. I remember riding the white XT500 version on the dunes in Southern Africa. Look at the thin frame tubes and the skinny front forks. These comments are about Jo's pic at the top.

This is one of my computer generated favorites, it could help neutralize the old which is best 'Black or White Tenere' argument ;-)

Desert racer,that's one cool looking ten,jacques I thought I had seen the tank and the seat style somewhere else but never ridden one , and that's a strange looking Spanish thing but I can see what it's trying to be!..

Maybe Yamaha should do a special "final" edition which has a paint job made up of all the previous colours? Anyone fancy a black, grey, khaki, red, white and blue Tenere?

On the subject of colours, it has always amazed me that there has never been a yellow XTZ with black on white speed blocks...
