A minor miracle

For too long have I been in denial. I live in the UK and rain is a fact of life. Ask anyone who went to wales this year. Finally succumbed and bought some Goretex gloves. One hour ride in the rain today, and home completely dry. And no dripping slippery leather gloves to need to dry. Should have done this long ago.

Hi Steve, hope you're well and we do need to go for a ride soon.
I have purposefully not commented on the TT seat, as I've only done 1 hour stints on it so far. Judged on that I am more than happy. Sheepskin in todays rain would have been a pain, so more versatile.
Its harder than stock, flatter and wider at the back, and this all helps. I'll take some pictures tomorrow side by side, and perhaps this will explain why its better, well for me anyway. I can honestly say that its put the pleasure back in riding my XTZ. Its always a turmoil getting a big item like this and not knowing wether it will work.
It does for me. And I'm sure when it comes to selling, I'll have enough others agreeing with this. So far no downs as far as the seat is concerned.

I've never scrimped on gloves, too many cold commutes over the north pennines to worry about what I spend.

These days I have to say the Halvarssons GoreTex are the best I have had. Even on Blood runs where the gloves are on and off more times than I would like, my hands stay warm and dry - I don't even get run off water from the jacket (thanks to the labyrinth cuff).

Life is too short to ride with crap gear.
