XTX just misses a Pheasant

As the title suggests I was out for a spin and this little nugget jumped out in front of me https://youtu.be/z1xNGayPcL0 lol

Haha that's brilliant I came across two pheasants in the road near me, stupid things just carried on walking a long, completely ignored me.

I've also had a bird fly out of a bush into my leg, think I killed it as I saw it tumbling down the road in my mirror.

That was close.....as I rode from Ballydehob over to Bantry Bay, at the exact moment I decided to flip up my visor a bird of some description flew full tilt into my face!!, giving me a very bloody nose...painful. Steve

Wierdest thing, I watched this video yesterday then on my way to work BAM, hit a bloody pheasant at 70mph which wrecked my headlight and ripped off my indicator.

Worst thing is that apparently I cannot replace just the broken clear plastic but have to buy a whole new headlight which retails for around 150.....

Thanks guys luckily I didn't it just wobbled me a bit. My mate actually cut a deer in half at 70mph with his XT and he didnt come off either! Bent his forks a fair bit and covered him in blood and guts but he was able to ride home. Since then we called his bike the deer hunter lol!

Thanks for the link Pleiades have found a new one for 72 in Italy so think I will go for that. Still sorely disappointed that I cannot just buy the lens though!
