No brakes on back wheel

It seems to me, as soon as I join a forum like this, everything goes wrong on my motorcycle. Luckily though, I joined a forum like this.

This morning on my way to work I lost all breaking power on the back wheel. At first I thought it might have been the chain oiler that was open too big and the chain flinging oil on my disc but I can't find any oil on the disc.

The break fluid reservoir also has fluid in it still. Not full but half way.

The break pads look pretty new in the sense that they still have plenty of miles on them.

I'm kind of leaning towards the oil on disc but want to make sure there isn't some bug in the Tenere mechanics that I should be aware of.

Any ideas anyone?

Have a look all around the brake hose to make sure there are no splits, cracks or tears.

Un screw the cap lift the lid seal and see if it comes back? Mine often does it its like the reservoir is creating a vacuum like a breather is blocked or something

Thanks CaptMoto, I checked the brake hose when I arrived home tonight but it looks fine. I'll do what bikemad195 suggested tomorrow morning and hopefully that will do the trick.

Do I just clean it with a rag or can I use a cleaning liquid of some sort on the disc and pads?

I still have to open the reservoir like bikemad195 suggested. Just didn't have the time this morning.

Brake cleaner and rags will do fine =)

I suggest you taking off rear brake caliper, take out pads and make sure pistons work well. Just don't push the pistons out too far out, if needed clean them so you can push them back with fingers.
