Ranger6 is on a distinguished road
Another satisfied customer MTC exhaust but a couple of tips,

I ordered my cans on Wednesday of this week and they arrived today Friday morning of the same week fantastic delivery service. They have a fantastic sound to them and look the dogs ********. A couple of slight hick-ups below but I thoroughly recommend these cans 100% and customer care also gets 100% from MTC. ( I am in no way related either or have any interest in the firm). And Francis Camardo many thanks for sorting such a fast delivery excellent. Hope my notes below assist any one who buys these great cans.

I got stainless oval personal choice but again in my opinion sit well on the bike.

Here we go then you would struggle on your own can be done but you really do need extra pair of hands. Anyone on here fit themselves brilliant full marks to you.

The link pipe would not push all the way home but I remember reading someone else had this problem. There is some weld or something in metal any case should not be there and this stops the link pipe from hitting home. I knew I would have to file but rang MTC just to make sure ok to do this (what a great guy on the other end of the phone brilliant customer service). So yes he apologised and said ok to file. Once done link pipe and can pushed home snug.

Next I rounded the end of one of the bolts button head type 8mm (****) also no washers came with the exhaust. back on the phone same guy yes you should have washers will pop in the post and send a couple of bolts also (brilliant).

Then I noticed side stand touching exhaust I had not read the post on here so started to think maybe put link pipes on wrong side. Back onto the phone same guy no you can not put on wrong way won't fit. He then went to speak with owner I think? who said he remembered it being a tight fit on the xt660x. Back to the bike slackened all bolts off and with a light tap with a plastic type mallet after first covering link pipe with towel bingo. There is not much clearance but it is clear. No moaning from the guy at MTC about ringing them excellent.

Also after fitting I cleaned all cans and link pipes with methylated spirits this was to clean all grease finger marks off before firing up or if left on once cans are warm they will stay marked for a long time.

If you are considering these cans go for it you wont be disappointed,
Steve
