Hello, been lurking for a while and as the bike arrived today I thought it best to introduce myself

The XT660r arrived to me fresh out of borstal, it's lived a bit of hard life but not travelled far in its 10 years at 10k, also came with a few nice extras such as Motech crash bars, bigger screen etc, the Versys 650 stays in the garage but due to the kids crap, Lurch (named appropriately) will be living down the side of the house, occasionally if the Sally Army have raised enough he may be given a garish silver cover to wear on cold wet nights.

I've owned a few big singles including Dommies, XT600s amongst others so am well used to their foibles, have raised the tick over and will fiddle with the C02 but won't ****** around much beyond that as I'm happy to ride around the XTs well documented issues, although if anyone has a set of after market cans I would be very interested..

So I give you Lurch, a 2004 XT660R that's going to be used for the ****e unclassified Devon back roads, short ride outs and in crap weather, whilst the Versys waits for the sun to shine and the joy of smooth A roads to exotic climes.....
