Tyres or Orange Dark Side?
Hiya guys,
Please can assist, my tyres have squared off the bike is starting to get a bit unnerving into the bends and starting to squirrel about a bit is best I can describe the feeling coming back. Please can you advise on a decent pair of sporty tyres going on a all daye'er in a couple of weeks so want them right for then. One guy is going on a new KTM 690 smc-r and is trying to sway me from the x to the orange dark side. Only don't want to change tyres expense to find out the KTM will knock the spots of my x. I really like the x and would like it to corner like a good un with a bit on return in the way of mileage out of the tyre. Thanks |

I used to have conti road attacks on my hornet. Loved them but only got 3k out the rear tyre.
The pilit road 3's are dual compound so will last longer and are grippy from the get go i have been told which is why i am buying them. Also my mate has had around 10k use out of his set on a ktm 950 sm |

Gone for a pair of Continental attack SM we will see how they go they are standard fit to the KTM 690 smc-r. If they are good enough for the KTM then they are good enough for the X.
