Five days in Southern NSW

Recently rode with a group of friends, South along the NSW coastline to the Victorian border. Then North again via McKillops Bridge and the Barry Way

Weather was on our side, with warm days and blue skies.

We followed the Snowy River North via Jindabyne to Adamninaby then onto The Hunter Valley

Day after day of sweeping dirt roads and tight forest trails. Plenty of close encounters with the local wildlife...Kangaroos, Emus, echidnas, snakes etc

Over rivers

& through rocky streams

Looking forward to doing this ride again next Spring....Adventure Bike Riding on an XT660Z...What a life !!!

Looks like a great trip Seahorse.
That antenna on the back of your bike is that phone reception or have you got some sort of two-way radio packed in there somewhere?

I have a 5 watt UHF radio in the tailbag, hooked up to a Starcom Advance system..A couple of my regular riding buddies also have this system, which we all find very useful for inter bike comms during a ride.

In heavy bush we can communicate over around 3 K's, much further in open country. Great for giving a heads up for road conditions, oncoming traffic or wildlife on the trail. Even better for organising the next coffee stop.
