Can anyone help with my rack?

I'm after a rack for my X. Needing to put a top box on due to having to carry all my kit to work with the wonderful weather not knowing what it's doing. Does anyone have any recommendations as to where to get one?

There pretty easy to make if you able to.
I'm currently doing one now. Alloy plate from eBay 400 x 300 x 5mm and the spacers to suit my tenere all for 31.
Just the longer bolts to buy and drill holes in plate.

Here's a site that I was thinking of using for buying a new one.

Here are a few ideas:

Possibly the biggest platform and strong, but not the prettiest ...

http://metalmule.com/by-brand/yamaha/yamaha-xt660r-xt660x-luggage-rack.html

Strong and looks a little more "stylish". Cheap with current exchange rate...

http://www.off-the-road.de/en/XT-660R-X/Luggage/OTR-rear-rack-Yamaha-XT-660-R-X.html

Or the genuine option...

http://www.yamaha-motor.eu/uk/products/motorcycles/adventure/xt660x.aspx?view=accessories&partcode=5VK-W0736-10-00&year=2014

Alu ones aren't as strong, but are obviously lighter...

http://shop.touratech.co.uk/luggage-rack-aluminium-yamaha-xt660r-2006.html

Pricier version...

http://shop.touratech.co.uk/luggage-rack-aluminium-yamaha-xt660r-strong.html

I'm sure there are others out there, but the above should give you some food for thought.

Smile rack recommendations

Hi Zen overland do a great rack. its bigger than the majority of racks by other manufacturers and is perfect for mounting a top box on. Alternatively just buy some alloy plate.

Thanks guys that's great. I did try Google but it wasn't throwing much up. I'll have a look at those when the girls are in bed.

Well, I need one that I can either fit a top box or strap a roll bag to. I need to carry a spare pair of bike trousers and a spare pair of boots to work each day.
