Tinkering with the Tenere!

Auxiliary / Accessory Fuse box - with hidden master switch and ignition switched relay - can add up to 6 accessories completely independently from the bikes electrical system without creating a birds nest of wiring!

Waterproof Dash Switches - one for the running lights and a spare...

LED Running Lights on a little mount I knocked together - Might be psychological, but people appear pay a lot more attention when these bright little blighters are on - especially when filtering between lanes...

300 for the Yamaha top box I don't think so! 1955 ammo box from eBay... 35 delivered... that'll do nicely methinks...

Sanded, painted, lock attached, reflective tape added, and bolted onto my Zen Overland rack... I also riveted on a couple of magnets to stop the side handles from banging about...

Solid as a rock on the back of the beast!

A little red tape makes for a much more visible rear end... It all helps the blissfully ignorant to pay more attention!

Next up, an Exan Exhaust, Kev Mod + O2, handguards, high mudguard... etc etc etc... The list keeps growing!!!

Smile tenere ammo boxes

Hi i have had the same idea but so far have not spotted boxes big enough for side panniers, however they do exist i saw some in an army surplus store 5 or 6 years ago i think they had 80mm on the sides. I will keep looking.

Nice mods Dread! Loving the top box.

Just out of interest, where did you get the LED lights from? I've been looking at the cheap chinese ones from ebay here and they look similar.

The eBay ones are cheep Chinese copies that a few people on other forums have fitted. Not sure how good they are though.

I've heard good things about the proper cree versions like yours though and from what you've said they work well!
