Talking Some questions

Got an xt660z today and just been informed by the previous owner it has, I presume, the kev mod on it. It has a little black box with a red light on it, by the headstock.

So, how do I know what gen the mod is ( as I believe there are a few)

It doesn't have one of those controller type things that folk set to 5pm (or is that the o2 thing?)

Just had a quick look at the air filter and it's open under the seat and it feels just like a foam one, how do I know if it's a DNA one ??

Sure there will be a lot more questions to come.

The older O2 sensor mod had the small led on it. Don't think there are any other differences though. (Reduces engine surging).

Sounds like air intake snorkel has been removed.
DNA filter will be wire mesh with cleanable element within it.
The Kev mod that is adjustable - in effect adjusts fuel richness.
( I've only recently got my head round it).

Good luck with your new toy.
