A big hello from London!
Hi guys. Introducing myself as a new owner of a mint xt660x 2008 model. Always been an owner of Fazers and finally took the leap to Supermoto and loving it! Why didn't I do this sooner?

Thanks, some great info and detail so far on this forum. Need to upgrade my cans from standard. Are the MTCs that you guys are linked with comparable to Akro's? The Akro's are a massive 980 here in UK and the full carbon MTCs are 480. A massive 500 difference!!

MTC exhausts are an exceptionally good British based factory, they make exhausts for any engines, bikes or cars, you need to appreciate that I wouldn't have striked a sponsorship deal with them if I wasnt 100% sure that the product and the price was perfect, because let's face it the last thing I would want is for you members to come back nagging at me, saying "Oi Capt. these dodgy cans you sold us are crap, I want my money back!" Instead I made sure that both the service and the quality was top mark and from beginning of time we have never had a serious complaint about MTC cans, the owner is Martin and he works in straight cooperation with us to ensure the cans sound and look perfect, yes they are not Akrap but carbon is carbon and so its titanium, they've got an MTC badge and are British Standard marked so you'll never have trouble with the boys in blue as long as you keep them legal ie with the baffles in! If you take them out on your head be it and that its with all cans.
Go to www.xt660.com and on the main page click on The MTC logo and then you can read all about the history of the company and you can see the large range of exhausts available to you at a price that suits your pocket. p.s. We have known of a lot of Akrapovic cans for the XT's that have suffered of welding cracking, which is perhaps an issue with their line of XT cans, but there have been not one but 5 different members who have all experienced the same problem. |
