100000 km mark passed

Hi folks,
as I passed the 100000 km mark three weeks ago (now it has 104000 km on it) I was wondering who has passed it and what problems did people have due to the high mileage.
Mine ran very well ever since I bought it. No engine problems so far, no electrical issues so far. Even if it was one of the first ones (I got mine on 12.6.2008), no rectifier problems:-). I just did the usual service.
My mods: ohlins suspension (which has to be reworked this year because its already 60000 km old). Acrapovic exhaust, Kevs O2 controller, K&N air filter.

Cheers,
Marcus
PS: How about an "100000 km" forum?:-)

Thanks for pointing this out. BTW the poliurethan cush drive rubbers work very well. No wear, I even forgot them:-).

UKBri is now over 90,000 miles according to his recent Facebook post!

I'm on 30,000 miles.
Problems:

Steering head bearings twice (now doing them myself every 10,000 miles)
Swingarm greased recently.
Crank nut came loose (terrified me, but easy to fix) think this is a problem with 2012+ bikes
Clutch is now slipping. Will have friction plates and springs replaced under warranty.

You must have a very hospitable dealer, most wouldn't even go near fixing a wear 'n' tear part like a clutch under warranty, especially with 30K miles on it. I had to practically beat my dealer into submission to get them to do anything under warranty, and even then they only did it begrudgingly!

BTW - I've updated your mileage in the other thread.

Mines done 101.200kms so far and also no major issues, just runnin fine. Engine is stock, only Leovinces, Hyperpro progressive springs front&back and lotsa useful things(panniers, ribbed footpegs, handlebar risers, alu bashplate, centre stand, handguards, Kahedo seat etc.) added. Tyres are the Heidenau's K60 Scouts(great tyres!, next time maybe Conti TKC70's?). Had two accidents, but in both occasions both rider and bike recovered just fine! The bike had its regular maintenance, doesn't have any oilconsumption and still has its OEM battery! Only issues so far:
-breather replaced under warranty in early '09('08 models had badly designed breathers);
-locks replaced twice under warranty(typical Yamaha issue!);
-cushdrive rubbers wear fast(replaced once under warranty!); try to get the polyurethane from Unaday, but never got a reply how to order.........

All in all, a very good and reliable bike, very allround too and still lotsa fun to ride: it's here to stay for a long time!
