OTR Gear Lever
Had a bendy wendy gear lever turn up from OTR today open the box up and it says Touratech so for the Brits on here depending on if you buy one or similar check the currency rates as we have a Touratech UK.

Touratech parts bought from anywhere other than Touratech UK will always be cheaper, regardless of exchange rate. Even if the euro reaches parity with the pound (which is highly unlikely), a lever bought from OTR will still be 12 cheaper than from TT UK!
I always get anything Touratech from here and they sell the whole catalogue - it's all about 35-40% cheaper and they charge less for delivery from Germany than TT do from Swansea!! Work that one out? |

The TT price has been the same but in recent weeks with the Euro dropping the gap has widened with the German price.

Here's the link for the XT660Z - http://www.motorcycle-luggage-shop.com/Touratech/50120__Yamaha_XT_660_Z.html Yeah, the price is the same, perhaps I wasn't clear in my OP. The TT parts from the Hornig's Motorcycle Luggage Shop (MLS) are the same (in euros) as they are on all the other German sites (like OTR). They are 35-40% cheaper than TT UK. OTR only stock a handful of TT parts, the above shop do everything, which is why I thought it would be of interest. For example I bought my Touratech seat from MLS. It costs 409.08 from TT's UK shop and 251.98 (349 euro) from MLS, still expensive you might say, but it's a whopping 157.10 (38%) cheaper!! |

I had selected my bike! It works now so I assume it was a glitch with my browser.
